You will need to work on Polyrhythm 2 against 3 (3.1/5) by clearly subdividing each hand and aligning attacks so both pianos remain perfectly together, and Baroque Ornaments (4.1/5) require crisp, articulated embellishments that demand exact fingering and control of duration. Placed in Milhaud's modern period, this two-piano suite belongs to his output of concise suites where polyphony and orchestral color are reimagined for the keyboard.
